Factors & Contributes
Off-page SEO is
an integral part of our SEO strategy
By writing quality content you can rank in search engines, but by getting a few great, relevant sites to link to that content, you’re increasing the chance that you’ll end up a couple of spots higher. The same goes for building your brand and creating trust.
This doesn’t just happen on your site, but mostly off-site. Take reviews, for instance, these can make or break your company. You need them, but they most often appear on external sites. These are all factors that contribute to your rankings.
Awards & Honors
A lot of it comes down to link building
Links are the glue that keeps the web together. Search engines use links to determine how valuable a piece of content or a particular site is. Getting quality links has always been a great tactic if you’re serious about ranking. And who isn’t?
Recently, however, some people seem to debate the relevance of links. We firmly believe in the importance of links. Of course, you need the good ones. Don’t buy stuff, and keep a close eye on where and how you’re being linked to.
We Don't Take
The Risk of Getting Hit
by Google Penguin
We do not follow or exercise these SEO tactics.
Linking only to the homepage? We Don’t!
We make sure links goes to different pages on your website and not solely to your homepage. If you only – or mainly – receive links to your homepage, your link building will look spammy.
Pay for specific links? We Don’t!
Another link building DON’T is buying links. We all know that buying links in large bulks from companies claiming to get you ranked fast is not something we recommend or Do. We do not take the risk of getting hit by Penguin or a manual penalty rises as well.
Recycling your content on different sites? We Don’t!
Recycling content is not creating new content. It is a link building trick and it could backfire. Write the articles for the audience of the website you’re sending your piece to. Yes, that is a lot of work. No one said link building is easy…
Forgetting about social media? We Don’t!
We do not leave out social media! Social media should definitely be included in your link building strategy, even if it’s not totally clear to what extent links from social media actually help in your ranking. If you receive many links from other websites all of a sudden, it would be extremely weird if you didn’t get any links from social media sites as well.
Faking it? We Don’t!
Our link building strategy doesn't look natural, IT IS natural! Links should be placed because the link could benefit the user of a website. They should fit the content of the page they’re added to. Our link building strategy is part of a marketing strategy aimed at telling people about your company, your website or your products. We never aim only at getting as many links as possible.
